For 110 years the Foire de Paris has been showcasing the very latest products and services to help people improve and enhance their everyday life. This year the fair has decided to give their audience an introduction to design and asked Chantal Hamaide, the chief editor of French Design Magazine Intramuros, for help. The result of this collaboration is the exhibition called “Chaises en jeu” which displays the development of techniques and forms of design on the basis of chair classics and design icons in ten different materials. The aim is to give visitors an understanding of “good design” and to demonstrate the impact of new and innovative materials to the quality and sustainability.
